Vitamin B17 is a natural ingredient of many foods and occurs in nature in compounds called nitrilosides, which are found in more than 800 plants, many of them edible.

Amygdalin was first discovered in 1830 in bitter almonds. Ernst T. Krebs, Jr. (1912 – 1996) was a chemist who was the first to promote amygdalin as a cancer remedy in the early 1950s. Amygdalin kills cancer cells, reduces the size of tumours and prevents metastasis, that is, the spread of cancer to other parts of the body. It is found in fruit seeds, grains, nuts, sprouts, tubers, leaves and legumes.

Fruit:

Apricot kernels are the richest source of vitamin B17. Besides apricots, this vitamin is also found in the kernels of peaches, plums, cherries and nectarines, as well as in the small seeds of apples and grapes and in the seeds of berries: strawberries, raspberries and blackberries, and in quince.

Grains

Besides fruit, grains are a rich source of this vitamin too: millet, buckwheat, barley and flax

Nuts

nuts are a rich source of vitamin B17: bitter almond, cashew and macadamia

Sprouts and tubers:

Bamboo sprouts contain a large amount of vitamin B17, as do mung bean sprouts and sweet potato tubers
Vegetables:

Beetroot, leafy greens, spinach, eucalyptus, peas, beans, lentils

The mechanism of action of vitamin B17
Amygdalin consists of 1 molecule of benzaldehyde, 1 molecule of hydrogen cyanide and 2 molecules of glucose.

Benzaldehyde and cyanide are poisonous, but in combination with glucose molecules they have no toxic effect.

The principle of action is simple: to grow, cancer cells need enormous amounts of energy, that is, glucose.

Since the growth of cancer cells requires energy, and glucose is the source of that energy.

When you take vitamin B17 into the body, cancer cells absorb the glucose molecules from vitamin B17 and, with the enzyme beta-glucosidase, ‘unlock’ the benzaldehyde and cyanide from vitamin B17, causing their own death.

Thanks to the high concentration of the enzyme beta-glucosidase, vitamin B17 is extremely lethal to cancer cells, while it is not toxic to other cells.
The doses needed for the body to function normally

Preventive use means regularly eating food rich in this vitamin. For example, eat 3 apples together with their pips (seeds) or 5-7 apricots a day (that is, apricot kernels).
People with cancer are advised to take 2-3 kernels per hour (20-35 kernels a day), depending on their body weight: 1 kernel / 4 kg of body weight = 15 kernels for a person weighing 60 kg. It is not advisable to take more than 35 apricot kernels a day.
This vitamin appears on the market in the form of apricot kernels, apricot kernel oil, or as amygdalin tablets and injections.
But it is important to point out that using vitamin B17 alone will not cure cancer patients, because the onset of cancer is the result of a metabolic disorder that must be put right during the course of treatment.

No matter how large the doses of the vitamin, it will not break down usefully if the body lacks the pancreatic enzymes that can dissolve the membrane of the malignant cell, or the minerals through which electrons are transported. Adequate polarisation (+ -) is of key importance for certain molecules to combine. Zinc is especially important in therapy, as it transports nitrilosides through all tissues.

It is also recommended to take other vitamins: A, C, B12, B6, as well as minerals: Zn, Mg, Se, Mn.
